that you leave enough time in advance to account for potential unexpected delays. Camp Wooten is quite isolated, and is approximately 45
minutes traveling time from Dayton, Washington. The camp phone number is (509) 843-3708. There is NO cell phone reception at the camp.*

A note about internet mapping programs: Simply typing in your starting point and Camp Wooten as the ending point will result in
directions that take you from highway 12 to the camp over some highly scenic but unpaved roads. You will encounter fairly steep grades on several of the higher
mountain ridges in the area. Signage on these roads is minimal.
If you are traveling from outside Eastern Washington and wish to use a mapping program to plan your trip, you will get better results if you put the nearest of the
above locations in as your destination and use the directions provided on these pages for the final part of your trip.
*CAUTION: Sheltering Branch Baha’i School is held at a remote location. Acute emergency medical care is 2 hours away. Individuals with serious medical conditions are advised not to attend. Please also be advised that there is no air conditioning and temperatures may be hot. Please take this into consideration if heat poses a health challenge.
